We are beside Glin Castle and Lanterns Hotel - an ideal touring base for Tralee, Dingle, Killarney, Cliffs of Moher & Shannon Airport - All approx. 1 hour drive . Tarbert Equestrian centre, fishing, tennis, Car Ferry and the Ballybunion championship links golf course are just a few minutes away - Many other golf courses less than 30 minutes drive.
Water sports, beautiful walks, swimming, fishing, heritage centre, castles, gardens, tennis and equestrian centre where you can go trekking on country roads with beautiful panoramic views of the Shannon and surrounding countryside all close by. Foynes Flying Boat Museum, beautiful restaurants, evening entertainment and pubs nearby.
Directions: En route from Shannon to Ring of Kerry on N69. Ideal Tourist Base for Tralee, Dingle, Killarney, Cliffs of Moher and Shannon Airport. All trips approx. 1 hour drive from Knights Haven. 7 minutes to Tarbert Car Ferry and 18 minutes to Champion links golf course in Ballybunion and beautiful beach. Beside Glin Castle and Lanterns Hotel and 12 minutes to Foynes and Listowel.
Shannon Airport and Limerick; (55 minutes drive from Shannon & 35 minutes from Limerick. From the airport take the dual carriageway to Limerick & follow the sign for N69 & Foynes, you will pass through Mungret, Clarina, Foynes,Loughill,& then Glin. Keep on the N69 for 1-mile pass Glin & you take a left turn off the N69 & we are located 200 yards off the Main road overlooking the River Shannon.
From Killarney,Tralee and Dingle: Take the N69 to Listowel & Tarbert. In Tarbert take a right hand turn at the T-junction towards Glin.
