Overview
The Abcorn is personally run by the owners Jimmy and Marjorie Kellacher, and their daughter Maria, who assure you of a warm welcome and friendly attention throughout your stay in Edinburgh. A detached Victorian villa, the Abcorn is set in a quiet and pleasant part of Edinburgh close to Arthur Seat and the Meadows Park. Each of our seven spacious en suite rooms has a flatscreen colour television/DVD player and a complimentary tea and coffee tray. A full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room daily between 8am and 9am.
The city centre is only one mile away and is served by a frequent bus service.
Set on the A701 three miles from the city bypass (A702) and one mile south of the east end of Princes Street and Waverley Train Station, we are easy to find by car and by public transport. Our parking facilities make it easy for guests to leave their cars in our private car park and take a bus or walk to the many attractions the city has to offer. We are beside a bus route with buses every few minutes into the centre running from early morning until about 11.30pm.
