Kingfishers is situated on the main road through Wootton Bridge village. It is about halfway from Newport to Ryde and is on a very regular bus route. It is convenient to shops, post office, pubs and pleasant walks and is just 10 minutes by bus to the popular seaside town of Ryde with its sandy beaches. It is also most convenient for visits to Osborne House, the former holiday residence of Queen Victoria. | | Directions | Situated on main road from Newport to Ryde at picturesque village of Wootton Bridge. On Newport side of traffic lights at top of hill, just past the Cedars pub. | | Transportation | Bus stops are outside Post Office and Spar shop and on opposite side (no. 9 bus route) Ferries to Cowes or Ryde.
